swept under the rug… and forgotten?
In addition to the issue as described here I just realized that events actually don’t “snap to” grid at all, they move by selected value.

Record or import file and place on timeline at for example 01:01:01:01:15 (i.e. on a timecode location NOT on a frame, but between frames.

Select snap to frame.

Drag or nudge event to the right until it snaps once.

Time code will now read 01:01:01:02:15
Cursor doesn’t snap to anything.
Event doesn’t snap to anything.
