I would like to kindly ask that Steinberg go in and review their window management protocol. For many windows, like the instrument edit window, the naming convention prevents them from being visible (and thus un-selectable) via third party management tools like BetterTouchTool, Keyboard Maestro, or even MacOS itself. Some of the windows like the automation/quantize panels cannot be minimized. Others the cannot be closed or minimized like the metronome/studio setup panels. Consistency among the windows would be a big nice but first and foremost would be having names that are visible to programs outside Cubase. This would be a great help and I think would go a long way in keeping Cubase competitive with more flexible programs like Reaper.
Also, full screen mode. For whatever reason this is not handled natively on MacOS which is ok but please give us a command to put windows into full screen. It would also be much appreciated if there was a “open editors in full screen” option available in the preferences panel.
