[Windows] Audio clips corrupt

Hey all,

This has been happening for quite a while now - I have just learned to deal with it, but now I’m working with more audio than I have in the past. What is happening is that audio that I import or that I record in Cubase seems to be subject to corruption. It doesn’t seem to happen as often to the main audio file that goes with the video (though it sometimes does). Often many of the clips that I have in the session will start clicking and popping and glitching and not actually playing the audio. Sometimes I can get rid of it for one clip on an individual basis by re-processing that clip’s audio by itself. But then 5 other clips go bad.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

Thanks!

Hi and welcome,

Try to increase the Buffer Size (Device > Device Setup > Your ASIO Driver > Control Room), please.

Thanks for the welcome! And thanks for the response.

Changing the buffer size seems to have little effect.
