Wow…agreed, the coding of Cubase and Nuendo for Snapdragon is impressive and makes you wonder where they think the most ARM sales are likely to be. Also a great response to the people on this forum constantly complaining about Cubase code being rubbish because it‘s old.

not just that but Windows will have a native low latency ASIO driver built in and Midi 2.

Great news for windows users.

So a Snapdragon LAptop will now be like a MAcbook pro iin that you’ll have low latency ASIO built in to the OS.

Does this mean that Cubasis will no longer exist?

That is a completely different story. Cubasis is for iOS and Android, not Windows.

Thanks for explaining!
I understood!

Indeed, it’s huge news… I posted my thoughts in the other thread. Huge congrats to both Pete at Microsoft for bringing the partners together, and for the impressive work by Steinberg! It’s a WOW moment for sure:

To the mods: maybe we can merge threads? (Not sure that’s possible in this forum.)

I read this from Pete last night on GS. I must admit it gave me a laugh to hear that Steinberg has been banging away at this in background with Pete and MS.

Indeed.
