Ripple edit … please while I’m still on this earth … RIPPLE EDIT
Timestretch algorithm such as MPEX for Apple Silicon computers.
To fix the issue of you can’t select several tracks with an external controller since N12.
I hope nuendo14 can come up with a function to make the video play slowly, the lack of this function makes me quite a headache when using MIDI to make steps, the picture is played according to the normal value often causes me to miss the moment of the picture, and I need to drag the knocked MIDI event back to deal with it, which increases my workload a lot

Reaper type temporary speed change of whole project including video, to be able record foley or musical staff in sync with the pic.
I’m on the trial of CB14, so my wish list is a sale at launch of Nuendo 14. Any chance that is happening? Missed the Mega Sale of Oct 2024 sadly.
I would love to be able to render a MIDI Instrument track (say a Kick, Snare, Hat, Bass or Horn) as a MONO AUDIO FILE. It’s such a huge waste of time to constantly have to re-render the stereo rendering of the MIDI Instrument into a Mono track.
The only work-around I know of is to record the MIDI output in real time back into Nuendo as a Mono track. That becomes really wasteful in time management when you have to do a bunch of those type tracks.
We’ve been asking for this feature for years now. Why is this so hard to do?
I use a Motu 8A interface to route signals in and out of the hardware, for recording using hardware-based effects and mix the stems in a separate system, using UAD.
If you export with mono downmix and create audio track enabled, you should get a mono file on a mono track in your project. Maybe I’m missing something in your request?
No misunderstanding on your part. It took me a minute to understand your work-around. I thought you were saying to render the MIDI file into its default stereo track and then export that audio track as mono.
I didn’t realize that you could export the MIDI file directly as a mono audio track. That is a nice work-around! But it is still a work-around.
RENDER IN PLACE:
- Open the Renderer.
- Label your Audio Track.
- Render in place.
EXPORT AUDIO:
- Open Export
- Select MIDI File
- Set the Audio settings (BWF, MP3, Etc)
- Title the exporting audio
- Run export process
- Find it in the Pool
- Import it into the Project
Even if you set it to automatically insert it into the project window, that’ll be the only step you can skip, because Audio Export is for ALL of the audio files which may be exported for any number of competing reasons. So, being able to just tell the render in place module to render the file as mono would be a big time saver. But for now, that’s a great tip! Thanks so much for sharing it!
#1 do this and pro tools will be out of business. (add my name to the patent for giving you this idea)
MIDI it is alway a piano for MIDI. give a right click that can allow the skin to become a guitar, bass, chello, violin, trumpet, sax, etc. I may not play all of these instruments, but whom ever does we don’t all understand piano notes if we don’t play piano.
If I want to pick up a guitar and someone sent me a piano midi, I can click on the midi guitar skin and it will shows me the different parts of the guitar neck where these notes can be played. while yes we can Capo a guitar to change keys we lose a lot of the body of an acoustic when you capo and all of the harmonics change which can offset and ever take a key and throw it out of wack. do this and watch the sales skyrocket!!!
Please optimize the Multitap Delay and VocalChain plugins to work at a sampling frequency of 192 kHz. Now they overload ASIO even if the project is small.
Bring Back the old beat calculator.
Bring back the transparent wavefile view!
Bring back the Project Browser please.
