noticing this on most clips in the montage when i’m zoomed out enough… there is, what appears to be a transient spike at the end of the clip… but it’s not really there… (keeps scaring me!)… when you zoom in it disappears… but shows up pretty often when zoomed out on most clips.
not a huge problem, but figure i’d report it if it’s something that could be fixed in an update…
here’s a screenshot of it… you can see that “ghost transient” at the end of the clip.
Please tell me (because these are dependencies):
resolution: display setting only says 1080p (Doesn’t give me a pixel x pixel number)
zoom: where do i find this number/amount?
sample rate: 48khz, but i also see in an 88.2 project and 44.1… i assume any sample rate (?)
right now 1:121957
and i see the lines
37478 i see them
different clips show the lines at different resolutions
do you want me to make a screen video capture as i zoom in and out? would that help or not?

FWIW, I have been seeing this sometimes too but I didn’t want to comment until I for sure saw it again.
I just saw it again while assembling a montage but in my attempt to trigger it and get a scree shot, I then lost the ability to reproduce it.
I’ll try to reproduce it the next time I’m setting up a new montage.
I saw it back when I was on Ventura and seeing it today after after recently upgrading my Mac Pro to Sonoma.
I still don’t know how to trigger it but I do see it somewhat often when assembling a montage which for me involves sliding clips around on the timeline, and sometimes adding a fade to the end of some clips.
Here’s a picture of it:
You have to look close and zoom in but the white selected clip looks like it has a sound right at the very end of it but it doesn’t, and that only shows up with specific actions that I can’t seem to trigger reliably.
This should be fixed in WaveLab 12.0.20
