WL 13 - Multiformat render - file browser shows wrong SR

I use a multiformat preset to render both 44.1 and 48k files (on separate folders). Once in a while it renders all as 44.1kHz files. This time it rendered left and right sides differently!

BTW WL 13 is magnifique! Merci! Merci!

Do you mean you have two mono files, left and right, or are you using a dual mono file as source?

The source is the stereo clip on the Montage. I’m generating dual mono files.

But! I just noticed the files are generated correctly, the error is on how it shows on the file browser tab.

The files show as 44.1k on the FILEBROWSER tab, but when i open the file it is in fact at 48khz as intended.

btw, I miss not having to use the refresh button on the file browser. I use the left folder tree tab a lot to navigate, and having to refresh all the time and click on the “Show current folder in folder tree” all the time is a lot worse than what we had on WL11…

Then again, a small price to pay given how good WL13 is!

Constantly checking the folder contents to refresh the file browser consumes CPU, which is why it is not automatic.

I’m glad that you enjoyed this version :slightly_smiling_face:

Could it refresh every time a render finished?

Also, could the folder tree tab also refresh? Now it doesn’t even when we press refresh…

And, since we are at it… Could the folder tree tab not scroll horizontally when we press “Show current folder in folder tree”. It often hides the left edge of the tree, and we have to scroll to the left in order to see the folder we need. Ideally it would not move horizontally, maintaining itself aligned to the show the leftmost part of the tab.

FYI, after I close WL and reopen it, the files show with the correct sample rate. I found no way to correct it other than closing the application. It may be annoying and scare people, but unless it’s a super easy fix, not a priority at all.

The changes in behavior of the folder tree mentioned above, on the other hand, would be super helpful!

Yes, I can change this.
