WL12 keeps prompting even though I check "dont ask next time"

Just like the title says, after I create a blank project and a new montage, I get prompts saying Do you want WL to ask every time on various choices, and I always say “don’t ask next time” But they come back again and again.
My other issue is that WL12 doesn’t recall plugs I saved in the Master section Playback processing section, as it did in WL versions earlier.

The system has changed. Plugins are now save with speaker configurations.
