WL12 Loudness Profile: post-render failing

When I first made the change to Wavelab 12, i could select multiple clips in the montage, and do a post-render loudness analysis of the group without difficulty, so I know this is possible.

Now I can only analyze multiple clips on Version A (source clip audio level).

When I select more than one clip for Version B (loudness profile analysis post render) the process appears to fail with a red dot placed at the second clip in the stack. It does not make a difference whether I’m analyzing 2 clips or the entire montage. Presently I can only do a Version B analyis one clip at a time.

I have no problem analyzing multiple clips for Version B.

The clip that fails on your picture. Do you have success if you only analyze this one?

The analysis for the first clip in the list does not happen at all either: When I hit the start button, the task list is created in the Audio Rendering box, there is a flicker of activity on the progress bar at the bottom-left corner of Wavelab, then the process stops. The start button stays gray, and no other progress is apparent, the progress bars in the Audio Rendering list are never active.

The loudness curves for the first clip in the list do not get rendered, even though that track still has a green circle.

To be clear, with these loudness parameters, I can analyze rendered audio all day, just one clip at a time.

Could this be a batch process problem? (I haven’t used the BP in years and am very rusty with it.)

I still can’t reproduce the problem. Everything is okay here.
Is this a new problem for you or did it happen in the past?
Probably there is a problem with a plugin at some stage.
Can you try with another montage?

In WaveLab 12, post-render loudness analysis fails on multiple clips if the batch process setup is incorrect. Make sure each clip is fully rendered before adding to the Batch Processor and check that Version B analysis is enabled for all selected clips. Otherwise, analyze clips one at a time.
