Sometimes I’m converting the sample rate of source files during import into the montage. When I’m replacing a file with a new version from my customer, Wavelab crashes and disappears. I think it should convert the file instead (with a message).
And as I’m writing: I’m using the XML export for the album report. It would be very nice, if variables in the custom text would be replaced with their content, as they do for HTML or PDF?
Yes, it’s an oversight. It will be fixed for WaveLab 13.0.10. That should be good for @Justin_Perkins as well 
Do you have an exact, reproducible procedure to create this bug? I did your test and everything was okay.
I’ve just checked again. In this case, I had aiff-files. Which is seldom the case, but I could reproduce it just now. I’m on Windows at the moment, but I will check it on Mac as well this evening. After the question, if the sample rate shall be converted, Wavelab disappears. The same files convert easily when I drop them into the montage.
