This was already an issue in WaveLab 12.
Is there a shortcut to import audio files via file manager/finder window, that also gives me the option to copy the file to the project directory?
When using the standard shortcut to insert audio files, the dialog to copy the file to the project folder does not show up even though the respective option is set in the preferences to always show the dialog.
Workaround so far has been to right click the imported file, select “replace”, select the same file again and then the copy dialog will show up. It is annoying though, since the first try at importing the file will already create waveform data files at the original file location that I then have to manually delete.
