I’m trying to render a mastered ADM. I added a reference track to match the stereo master’s length and fade out. I don’t see a way to add track markers or “render selected audio range”
I had to make the ADM shorter and do a fade out, leaving a second of silence afterward to match the stereo. When I render, it exports just the length of the ADM clips
I think it can be done in the Album Montage, but it would imply another process.
Since you said “I had to make the ADM shorter”, where is the problem?
On the other hand, if you need to increase the length of the ADM file, place a marker where you want the ADM to end.
Theoretically, the ADM and stereo have to be the same length.
The stereo file has a second of silence at the end so it plays like an album gap between songs.
”On the other hand, if you need to increase the length of the ADM file, place a marker where you want the ADM to end.”
I can add a generic marker a second after the ADM but when rendering it only renders the length of the ADM clips. I tried selecting the length of the stereo clip.
In the normal stereo Montage, you can select, Render selected track, Render selected Audio Range, etc..But not in the Single ADM Montage.
I tried using a Dolby Atmos Album Montage instead (Even though it’s one song) and it works as expected. In this mode you have track markers.
I can master each song individually like this, then do a full Album Montage for assembly.
Best is to show a picture.
The system is designed to match the reference clip exactly. Either by reducing or enlarging the beginning, or the end.
Check it again. I’m sure it works the way I told you.
In Atmos master montage, the rendering is always from the very beginning to either the last marker or the end of the clip, whatever is further.
You are correct. I added a Region Marker Start/End extending 6 seconds to test, and indeed renders the length up to the marker.
Thanks PG !
