WL8 crashing on playback

hi there - everything was working fine today for a few hours until suddenly WL crashed. Now I can open my sessions, but as soon as I try to play, it crashes. In fact when I try to do anything, it crashes (quitting the program will make it crash rather than quit).

Anybody shed any light on this? I’m using 32 bit 8.0.1 / OS 10.8.5, never had any problems before.

The current version is 8.0.4, try this one first.
Else, do you have any plugin involved?

I have some native plugins in the master section, but if I try to disable or remove them, it crashes. Will install 8.0.4 tomorrow and see how it goes. Many thanks.
