Won't open! (Cubase LE AI Elements 9)

Hi all,

When I try to open Cubase LE AI Elements 9 on my MacBook Pro (OS X El Capitan 10.11.6), the program closes before it actually opens. Any suggestions? Note that I have no applications running when I attempt this. I have my Steinberg UR-44 on and plugged into a USB port on the computer, and I confirm that the device is selected in the ASIO Driver Setup window appears. (Please note that I have not yet been able to open Cubase at all on the computer.)

Can you see the splash screen while starting Cubase? What do you see here? What is the last entry, you can see?

In any case, make sure, your UR-44 driver is up-to-date, please. There were some issues with the older drivers.
