Won't upgrade from 5.1 to 5.3 and 5.5 essential

Hey, I have 5.1 essential installed, but when I try to get 5.3 to install the installer window appears for a couple seconds, then disappears and that’s it. No upgrade. I’m trying to get to the 5.5 final update.

I updated my elicenser software and run an E-MU 0404 USB interface. Run Windows 7 sp1 64-bit, intel I-5 core, and 8 gbs Ram.

Anyone else have problems with this and is there possibly a fix? Thanks

If you are talking about the 5.5.3 update it is only for Studio and Full 5 versions.

The latest version of Cubase essential 5 is 5.1.1. All the higher updates have only been made available for Cubase 5 and Cubase 5 studio, not essential unfortunately.
