Hello all,
I wonder if anyone has developed a workaround to notate more complex tempo modulation; e.g. quarter-note quintuplet (4/5 of a quarter) becomes the new quarter. I would accomplish this in Finale by writing quarter = quarter and then sticking a “5” over the first quarter. Any suggestions?

Florian Kretlow’s free Metrico font was designed for these purposes. Download and install from GitHub - fkretlow/metrico: Font for metric equations in music notation. (the only file you need is Metrico.otf - drop that into Font Book on Mac or the Fonts Manager within Control Panel on Windows). Then, having restarted Dorico, follow the syntax shown in the ReadMe that should be visible on the page I linked to above. You’ll need to enter as System Text (Shift+Alt+X) like so:
