I m a new user of wavelab.
I use Wavelab 12 with integration of my analog chain.
I use an audio track to insert the mixes and be able to do the audio analyses and volume adjustments on each file.
I then use the album wizard to insert the CD markers. I prefer to manage the pauses at this point.
Then I duplicate all the clips on a reference track which allows me to output to my analog chain then return to a Wavelab audio track.
Is there a way to link the clips on my reference track to the original clips of the mixes? This would allow me to be able to move the CD markers at the same time as my clips on my reference track.
I have not yet managed to compare the mixes and the return of my analog chain without latency. This would also avoid having a lag between the mix and the master. With my way of working, I am obliged to re-align the masters with the mixes to respect my previous work on the locations of the CD markers. Should I change my way of working? I would have liked to avoid making one file for recording and one file for arranging the tracks.
Thanks
