Working with a multitrack

Hi all, I record mostly acoustic/classical music and my work involves using upto around 30-35 mics recording simultaniously in the same space.

So, if sombody drops a pencil, or a floor creaks or (in my specific case now) a pianist’s foot is heavy on the pedals, it makes a noise in ALL of the mics. I want to use Spectralayers in Nuendo (instead of exporting a stereo file and then noise reduction on that in RX10) but I need to be able to quickly remove the same noise in each mic channel. Is there a way to use the tools and apply to every layer (or track) at the same time or do I have to do it one track at a time?

Thanks, Dave

You can’t technically apply an action to several layers at the same time, but if you have a clear spectral selection of your unwanted noise and all layers are time-sync, then you can just quickly go down the list of layers and delete/delete/delete while the selection remains in place.
