Workspace not saving control room in mixconsole

Cubase Pro 14.0.20. Windows 10.

I’m trying to set up workspaces to control how my Control Room looks. Seems to work in the arranger window but not in mixconsole.

Steps:

  1. In the mixconsole, show the inserts tab (bottom of screen) of the CR tab (top of screen).
  2. Create a workspace.
  3. Show the loudness tab (bottom of screen) of the meter tab (top of screen).
  4. Recall the workspace created in ‘2’ above.
  5. The Control Room still shows the loudness/meter tab when I expected it to show the inserts/CR tab.
  6. Duplicating steps 1 - 4 above from the arranger window works as expected.

I don’t use workspaces, but I can confirm this behavior.
