After returning to Cubase recently, I’ve always liked to work with samples quickly and MediaBay is excellent for that - however - I’d love to see something like this added for even faster auditioning of pitched samples that aren’t always in the key of your project.
Knowing me, this has either been requested quite a lot already or there’s some hidden way of doing it that I’m not aware of as I’ve been away from Cubase for a long time!
Also, to add to that, perhaps even a separate audio track for the Media Bay as an option, that way, one can add FX (including re-pitch plugins) to it and audition samples with the rest of the tracks in real time!
Loopcloud VST has that feature to re-pitch samples to the correct key, but they’re trying to upsell if you get their latest version, to sign up to their subscription sample library, always best to have it built in.
Yes, that’d be cool too and would be a welcome addition to Cubase for those working with lots of samples from various sources.
