I’m working in Nuendo for post and I use “Automation Follows Events” and “Video Follows Edit” all the time. However, I’ve run into something that feels like a missing piece in my workflow.
When I’m writing automation with the mouse, the video only follows when I record automation or move events around, not my manual interaction when writing with the mouse. What I’m looking for is a way to have the video follow my cursor or gesture while writing automation, so I can more directly “draw” or shape automation to picture without relying entirely on playback.
Is there any feature, setting, or workflow in Nuendo that allows the video to follow mouse-based automation writing more directly? If not I think it would be a wounderful feature.
