I’m trying to write to a MIDI track’s automation lanes using controls (eg CC 11/expression) from a MIDI device panel.
It seems the MIDI goes to the output port okay but isn’t recorded to the track when in Write mode.
I also see that CC7/volume controlled from a device panel does not effect the track directly or sync with the fader., although it goes to the MIDI output
Is this simply something that is not designed to work this way? Or should it be possible to record automation from MIDI device panels?
