Writing Automation With The Mouse.

is anyone aware of a way to write automation with a mouse so that is writes at the position of the play head ???

I’m sorry but I’m a bit confused by the question. Automation from Cubase writes with the cursor which is the same as the “play” head. What process are you trying to automate?

i would like to record for example filter automation on retrologue

instead of riding the rotary controller on the gui, can I change the amount on the track with the automation being written by the cursor position ?

hope this is a better explanation

select the data amount in the track header and with ALT+click a fader appears which can be adjusted and the automation will write at the playhead position.
