Can anyone remind me where the preference is to adjust the duration of the beat division thing when you’re entering notes? I’ve been looking through as many different sets of Options as I can find, but haven’t located it.

Are you talking about the pull-down (pull-up?) in the bottom left corner?

it can be changed with alt-[ and ] as you go …

I think it can also be changed with 1 and 2.

No, not by default, Stephen, though perhaps you’ve set those shortcuts yourself.
