Hello, I try to write a normal rest in an empty bar, in this case a 3/16 bar where I try to put a dotted 8th rest.
I select force duration, then rests, then write the rhythm but the result is a whole rest.
where is this option ??

Works here. In note input mode, comma for rest, o for force duration, then 5 or select the 8-note and press y (or any note name) to insert it. Finally, dot for dotted.

you must do this in the score.
You can’t do it in the part…!
