Writing pitch automation

I’m looking to emulate “wow and flutter” by writing pitch automation like you would for volume (there might be an easier way to do this. If there is, please don’t hesitate to speak up!). I’ve looked through the manual and, though it’s possible I missed it, I cannot find anything on this topic. Any help here is greatly appreciated!

I assume you mean Audio tracks.

It is possible in MIDI in the key editor to change the pitch wheel

Yes, sorry. Forgot to specific. The piece I’m working on is mostly VST’s but there are live instruments being played, so I’d like to adjust the pitch of the whole piece if possible.

Oh,OK, then if it is possible it is way beyond my skill level.

What about Isotope Vinyl (free) plugin on the master output? Would that be enough wow and flutter?

Oooo, I didn’t know they had a vinyl plugin. I’ll give it a shot and see what happens!

Dangit. It’s not compatible with Cubase 11. It’s VST 2

What a b…t
VST2 is compatible with C11

Get this. VInyl has a VST 3 version, but for whatever reason, Cubase only recognizes it as VST 2.

VST2.x is indeed compatible with Cubase 11 as well as Cubase 12.

Check that. Vinyl comes with both VST 2 and VST 2.x. It absolutely works in Cubase 11
