Wrong Download for Wavelab Pro 13?

I just purchased the upgrade from Wavelab 12 Pro. Using the download manager, the app installed is Wavelab Go. No montage support. Please advise….thx

I have the same problem. Wavelab 13 Go is installed. Wavelab Pro 13 does not show in the download assistant. I have activated WaveLab Pro (i see in the activation manager that it is activated).

I have the same exact issue, and I used the Steinberg Assistance Manager.

I guess you are talking about the Steinberg Download Manager, or is it the Activation Manager?

There is no separate WaveLab 13 Go or Pro download, it is all the same. Just Wavelab 13.

What license you have can be seen in the Activation Manager. Open the Activation Manager look for the Wavelab 13 entry and click Activate. When you now start WaveLab it will use this license to enable the features of your release.

Without a active Pro license WaveLab will automatically start as Go.

There is no separate download in the Download Assistant. Both are the same packages, it is just the license in the Activation Manager that enables the correct license.

Instructions for activation (for those who get confused - like I did!):

Open your email and find the activation code.
Open Steinberg Download Assistant, click “Redeem code” and input the code there.
Open Steinberg Activation Manager and click the refresh icon until the licence shows up.
Click “Activate”.

Done!

I used to get so confused before, because it’s separated into different applications. I think they need to have the code redemption inside the Steinberg Activation Manager instead of the Download Manager. It makes much more sense having it there.

Had the same issue with WaveLab Elements 13. (Start as WaveLab Go)

I have then deactivated and activated my license, although it was already activated.

Then WaveLab Elements 13 starts correctly

GOT IT! Thank you, I have never had to go to Activation Manager before, but got it activated and loaded PRO.

In My Steinberg Download assistant Icon section, shows Wavelap 13 Pro. When I select it, on the right side shows Wavelab 13 only, no Pro. My activation Manager activated WaveLab 13 Pro. When I tried to open ADM demo file, It show that it has more channels that I’m able to open with my version of Wavelab. What is going on? Did I get the wrong Access Code? Even I my Application Folder, only Wavelab 13 is installed along with Wavelab 12 Pro And Wavelab 11 Pro!

Don’t worry about the name.
The name is WaveLab and if you have a pro license, WaveLab Pro will open

Same thing happened to me with but with Wavelab Cast.

As I had an existing licence of Wavelab cast 2 on my machine as well as Wavelab 12 pro my first installation of Wavelab 13 after download came up as Wavelab Cast 13. A reboot of Wavelab 13. then prompted me to activate Wavelab Pro 13 licence with authentication manager.

It appears Wavelab 13 is a multi installer for Wavelab Go, Wavelab Cast and Wavelab Pro.

It checks the for licences at install and if one found it fires up that one, not checking for the others. Subsequent reboots appears to find the next licence if it exists and prompts for activating that.

A tad confusing.
