Wrong fingering automatic position with octava line

When I put fingerings with Octava Line, their positionning becomes erratic, like in the following attachment (the 2 is really to far from the note head) :

Like other positioning problems, we can always manage to correct this in engraving mode, but it seems that stacking fingerings, slurs, octava lines, dynamics, etc … is still a problem in Dorico.

The issue here is that Dorico wants to position the fingering outside the octave line, and so even if you move the octave line manually to the other side of the fingering, the fingering won’t “swap places” with the octave line, so it stays put.

I agree that there is room for improvement in this behaviour, and indeed in the general approach towards managing complex combinations of fingerings, articulations, playing techniques, slurs, octave lines, tuplets, and so on.

OK, thank’s Daniel.
I know it’s a very complicated item to put in place, but I am sure it will be done in a next version
