Problem with HOOPUS noteperformer play back engine and instruments sounding out of tune

I’ve been using HOOPUS in the notepeformer playback engine for a little while now with no issues. But now all of a sudden instruments sound awful and almost as if they’re out of tune and the strings sound as if they’re playing almost a weird tremolo sound is the best way I can describe it. I’ve kept both noteperformer and Dorico pro 5 updated and even reinstalled them both. Regular noteperformer and Iconica sketch sound fine it’s when I load HOOPUS is when this happens.
