Wrong order of rests in x/2 time signature

Is this a bug? Dorico 5.1.7
The order of the pauses is not displayed correctly in the x/2 bar

. Can anyone make sense of this?

Christian, you are referring to the order how the rests appear. Yes, this looks strange, indeed.

ps. in English pause is used for Fermata

It does look to be a bug. I can sometimes reproduce this, and sometimes not, depending on the order that I do things.

You’ll have to use Force Duration to ‘correct’ it. Select the eighth note rest, press O, and then Alt-click it to the … 32nd note’s position.

Weirdly, if I remove the Force Duration from the eighth note, it stays in the correct place!

This does indeed look like a gap in our current algorithm for determining the correct long-to-short ordering of rests. We have a very similar issue on our backlog for investigation and fixing.
