Wrong sound when entering notes - Correct sound upon playback

I’m using Tapspace’s Virtual Drumline with Dorico 3.5. I’m not using any pre-made kit or percussion maps, I’m just rolling with the ones that shipped with Dorico and editing/building them on my own as I need them.

For the single-line AutoRL Snare, whenever I input notes, or scroll back and forth to review them, I hear the crash cymbal sound (midi key 48, C3). However, it’s the correct sound that I mapped it to upon playback.

Does anyone know how to fix this? It’s not a deal-breaker because everything sounds great on playback, but it is slightly annoying to hear so many cymbal sounds.

Nevermind, I seem to have fixed it!

For anyone experiencing a similar problem, I had selected the default Snare instrument, not the one from VDL. Selecting the correct Marching Snare (1 line) instrument in Setup mode made it work. I’m guessing it has something to do with what midi note the single line is mapped to, but I have no idea really.
