Nope. Not at all. Cubase’s MIDI editing features are absolutely, positively not a reason why people use it over ProTools for MIDI related work.

This depends on your workflow, genre, and technique.

Aaaah! Finally someone has figured out the RIGHT way to use Cubase, and it’s not possible in Cubase …

I asked for “more lower zone love” – meaning the LZ would include a few more racks – routing, pre-rack and EQ would be my first choices. That said, I like the LZ in Cubase. If Cubase isn’t working for you, use something else.
