xml error loading C8 cpr into C9.5

loading a project created in C8 into the latest C9.5 i get the error:

backing up state failed
can’t create xml from binary:
GPFC

can anyone explain?

Hi,

It would be good to know, what does GPFC mean. As far as I know, it’s not Cubase related at all.

the error shows up on opening the Cubase project. otherwise, i have no idea what GPFC means. google draws a blank!!
