Yamaha DM3 and Cubase LE AI Elements 13

Hi you all! Thanks in advance for your attention.

I have a new Yamaha DM3 and i’m trying to control Cubase LE AI Elements 13 bundled with it using DAW Control.
I thought it was plug-n-play but the “online” led stays on grey and none of the button is working.
In the Cubase studio options i cannot find “Mackie HUI” nor “HUI”, if i set “Mackie” nothing works.
I installed Yamaha DM3 driver properly.
My PC is a MacBook Pro with M3 Pro and Sonoma 14.5.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi and welcome to the forum,

Click on the + button in the top-left corner to add a Remote Device. Select Mackie Control from the list and set the correct MIDI Input and Output, please.

Ok im gonna try.
Is this supposed to work without creating a script by myself or it is gonna be preset and pre-configurated?

Hi,

If the device supports Mackie Control protocol (I expect it does), then it will work immediately, once you add the Mackie Control Device into Cubase.
