My mg12xu mixer is connected to my PC, but there are only two device ports available (mg12xu 1 and 2). I am using several mics as separate inputs across multiple channels… how do I map each of these? Or is this not an option? i.e. I’d like to record each track separately.

I have since re-adjusted my config… if I recall correctly, it’s not an option on this model. I don’t connect to a PC anymore, I just output to tascam DR-40 and record to an SD card. This unit is good for leveling volumes during the recording process… not optimal for isolating tracks and post-editing. I could be wrong about that, but at least that’s where my own personal troubleshooting led me. The good news for me is that I don’t have to do a lot of post-editing… and I just put some care into input levels while recording… so, I still like the unit… I’m just not using it how I thought I would.
