I run Cubase 6 with Yamaha N12. Does anyone know if I would be able to use a universal audio Apollo interface with this. I am interested in the Apollo as I understand you can record directly into the program using the plugins in real time. I would still use the N12 for transport controls and midi (the Apollo does not have midi), and the Apollo for recording and the plugins.
To use the N12 you have to use a special template to set it as an input and output, hence I am wondering if the Apollo would appear as an in/out option. Will they work together? If anyone has any experience with this it would be appreciated.
