I am replacing a MOX6 with a Motif XF6. I downloaded and installed the recommended interface files including the USB-midi driver 3.1.3 but Cubase 8Pro doesn’t access the Steinberg ASIO and the Motif doesn’t connect to Cubase.
Can anyone suggest a problem-solving sequence?
I don’t have a MOX6 or Motif XF6 but…
I always ran into some kind of issue when I used the Yamaha midi driver. Now, I never do.
So, I would try deleting the Yamaha USB-midi driver and just let the computer OS (you didn’t state what you have) recognize it. Of course keep the other Yamaha interface software installed.
