Yosemite Compatibility Performance Issue

There’s a performance issue regarding real time peaks and yosemite.

On Mac Pro 2010 32gig of RAM OS 10.6 Cubase 7.5

  1. Load Cubase 7.5
  2. Open instance of Kontakt and Emotional Piano
  3. No problems

On Mac Pro 2010 32gig of RAM OS Yosemite Cubase 7.5/8pro

  1. Load 7.5 or C8 Pro
  2. Open instance of Kontakt and Emotional Piano
  3. Playing instrument results in erratic Real Time Peaks

On Mac Pro 2013 12gig of RAM OS Yosemite Cubase 7.5/8pro

  1. Load 7.5 or C8 Pro
  2. Open instance of Kontakt and Emotional Piano
  3. Playing instrument results in erratic Real Time Peaks

I’m using emotional piano as an example because it is fairly large.

I can get over the issue by rewiring Cubase to Reaper which gets over the problem. but this is not ideal…
