Hi all,
I am since decades using Cubase and doing my (amateur) music composition and production with it. I am coming from a very “conventional” (iow classical) education, i.e. Notation is a very natural way for me. When the special discounts were given I decided to buy Dorico and I am amazed what it can do. Now I am wondering how other people use this combination. Especially in szenarios where you compose or arrange using Dorico. I am for example wondering whether people set up all the vsti instruments they are using in Cubase as parts of the play mode in dorico in order to hear things just as they will sound in cubase (assuming the midi gets transferred to cubase). This would mean to set up a complete template in Cubase that represents EXACTLY what is set up in Dorico, or doesn’t it?
You can see that I am overwhelmed currently - so I am curious how other people use the combination to their benefit.
