Zombie notes playing back

I deleted a brief oboe passage. Still plays.

Is there a quick fix for this? Something faster than creating a new oboe staff, copying my notation for the entire score, and making sure my VSTs are set up properly?

I guess you deleted a staff containing notes?

If so, add it back (right-click>staff>add staff above/below…), delete the notes and then remove the staff.

Thanks, @Janus! My problem was something like that, yeah. Had a staff that I’d formerly designated divisi, which I’d reverted to unison without first removing the notation on the lower staff.
