Zone for protected layers? - solved

Hi:)

Ok, So I have protected some sample layers.

Sadly, the bus (with the zone tab containing cutoff etc) gets blacked out.

How can i protect the sample layers and keep the zone tab of the master layer active?


Things i have tried:
-placed the main layer containing all protected layers into a new layer with a bus. - the unlocked “master layer”'s bus still blacks out when exporting as a protected vstpreset…

Hi,

if you protect a layer, any access to objects inside is blocked.
So your zones! This is the intention of the protection. No one can spy out or modify the structure of your layer.
Use QC or macro pages to open up access to specific parameters inside your protected layer.
