…why does it have to minimise all the other tracks too? This is intended behaviour (manual p.56). I like the ability to zoom in/out on a track but to get it to do it without minimising all else I have had to set up a KC (Shift-Z) to de/activate “Enlarge Selected Track” and this is eating up increasingly-hard-to-find convenient key combinations.
Okay, so I can get it to work but I was wondering why it didn’t do that in the first place. To my mind, the Exclusive Zoom (Z) is behaving like a macro - doing two jobs in one.
I have seen JHP’s excellent page on Zooming (Steinberg Forums) so I know that this is intended behaviour. Just wondering why.
