zoom presets question

Hi all,
believe it or not, I’ve never used zoom presets in all those years of working with Cubase…
but I started yesterday, and ran into something of a limitation.
Why are the presets valid for the horizontal or vertical zoom ONLY?

Why can’t i define a preset for a given TOTAL setting / screen?
ZOOM FULL only ever refers to either one, which doesn’t make any sense to me…

am I missing something here?

You can build a macro for that. Use both horizontal / vertical presets in there.

  • zoom - show all tracks
  • zoom - show full window

    Define a keyboard-shortcut for that macro.

    (sorry, for bad translation I do not use the english version)
