Axel Chambily - Casadesus was born on December 5, 1957 in Paris into the Casadesus family of musicians. He began his musical studies at an early age at the Maîtrise de Montmartre. He is a student of Daniel Roth (organ), Gabriel Looren (choral singing and conducting), Catherine Casadesus (piano and music theory), Edmond Marc (harmony).
Later, he will play often at the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre, at the Church of Sainte-Marie des Batignolles and at the Basilica of Saint-Denys d’Argenteuil.
Music teacher, organist, choir director and composer, he is the author of more than 170 vocal and instrumental works.
He is a member of S.A.C.E.M. since 1977 as composer, edited by Salabert editions as transcriptionist, edited by Dhalmann editions as composer (piano pieces).
