Started with cubase on the atari back in 1990, cubase audio falcon and eventually switched to the mac when atari went down. I have been a faithful steinberg customer and have owned pretty much every piece of steinberg software. I have tried other platforms since at one point I worked for an emagic and an ableton dealer but seems like my brain is hard wired for cubase. Earlier this year I took advantage of the nuendo crossgrade and happily moved to that platform getting geared up to use it professionally now. Currently i’m working with an old (5,1) 12 core Mac Pro and a metric halo 2882 with an edge card hosting five behringer ADA8200 units to the total of 40 inputs since i have a lot of synths. I had tried several pieces of hardware (including the mr824) as a front end but stuck with the metric halo because the combo of it with nuendo is unbeatable with regards to stability and sound quality.
