Retired engineer with a B.S. in mechanical engineering as well as a B.A. in English (creative writing). Started playing trombone in 2nd grade. Did some acting in community theaters. Wrote book and lyrics for a musical that was produced in my home town in 1982. After 37 years of on and off work on my second musical (book, lyrics, music), I finished it last fall. Bought version 1 of Finale at the Mac Music Fest at Paramount Studios in 1987. Now comes the switch to Dorico.
