Joerg Dankert is a composer, recording artist, and fan of Berlin School music since early seventies. He is completely unknown in public, never had a chance to perfom in a concert and was many years not able to “make his music”. End of 2018 Dankert stumbled across an offer for Cubase, which he installed onto his new dell laptop. After few clicks and some playing with an very cheap midi controller he was hooked up with those sound possibilities via an vst instrument. With small equipment in a small space Dankert has to be creative and cannot rely on super expensive and top sounding synthezisers. “I learned in life, that not equipment and certificates are sucessfull. It is the love you put into something.” So he is playing and composing just with vst synthezisers and software. I can take my music laptop, a small keyboard, my headphones with me on my business trips and set it up in a hotel room. That’s what I love from technology."
