I’m just a guy who needs about 1 /1000th of what DORICO has to offer. My music writing needs are very elementary. I inherited Finale from my daughter, so the overkill for my needs was pretty tolerable including the years of upgrades to Finale 27. I elected to buy the DORICO offer via MakeMusic since the price was attractive. At my age, learning is a little slower and the proactive learning interference is its own challenge. So, as I experiment, it is a little shocking when things seem to happen wildly. But, I’ll get there.
