My first Steinberg software was Pro24 running on an Atari 1040ST. Pro24 was supplied on a 3.5” floppy disk, with a copy protect dongle. Bought in 1988. I also had the Steinberg SMP24, a 1U rack that read/wrote timecode and connected to the Atari’s printer port, so I could lock the 24 MIDI tracks on Pro24 to my tape multitrack. How things have changed!
