Musician and producer, from Brasilia, 51 years old, majoring in music, he has been working professionally in music for over 25 years. He participated in several workshops, workshops and courses in arrangement, harmony and improvisation, taught by professionals such as Gamela, Nelson Faria, Ian Guest. During his musical trajectory, he integrated choirs, musical groups of different styles such as Reggae, MPB, Pop and Rock. He participated in the production of several soundtracks for cinema and theater. In 1991, from friendship with the teachers of the School of Music of Brasília Jaime Ernest Dias and Paulo André Tavares, the opportunity arose to join the Guitar Orchestra of Brasília, formed by 16 guitarists. The partnership continues today, where he acts as a musician and producer. He recorded the 1st CD of Orquestra de Violões, called ?Contrastes?, in 1997, and the 2nd CD, called ?À Moda Brasileira?, in 2003. In 1998, Daniel joined his friend and musical partner Jorge Brasil in Mandragora, a guitar duo that develops a work of authorial instrumental music. The partnership continues today and the duo had the opportunity to play several concerts in Brazil and abroad, with 3 CDs and a DVD in their repertoire. In 2006, he was hired to join the faculty of the Escola de Música de Brasília, teaching popular guitar classes. In 2007, he developed a guitar workshop in the Escola de Música’s Basic Course, with content focused on technique and musical theory. From 2008 to 2012, he was a member of the DF Culture Council, working on project analysis, elaboration of public notices and cultural policies for the DF. After leaving the Cultural Council, he began to dedicate himself to the area of production and realization of cultural projects. Since then, he has elaborated projects in several areas, acted as artistic and musical director, executive producer, cultural producer, and performed the accountability of these projects. Currently, in addition to his work as a professional musician and cultural producer, he also carries out projects in the audiovisual field.
